I do not really want AI to tell me the future.
What I want is simpler and more practical. I want AI to help raise the probability of the future I want.
Prediction is not enough
A prediction can be interesting, but it does not automatically change anything.
If AI says something might happen, I still need to decide what to do next.
Better odds matter more
The useful question is: what action makes the desired outcome more likely?
For writing, that might mean publishing more clearly. For work, it might mean reducing wasted steps. For life, it might mean choosing earlier.
AI is good at showing options
AI can show paths I did not notice. It can compare risks. It can turn a vague wish into a smaller action.
That is where the value is.
My rule
Do not ask AI only “what will happen?” Ask it “what can I do now to make the better future more likely?”
