A GitHub skill can be useful as it is.
But sometimes I want a version that fits my own work more closely. That is why I forked it.
General skills are not always enough
A general skill has to work for many people.
My blog workflow has local rules, publishing habits, and mistakes I want to prevent.
Forking makes the rule practical
Instead of explaining the same preference every time, I can put it into the skill.
That makes the next session faster.
The point
A skill is not only a tool. It is a way to save judgment that you do not want to repeat.
