When Is the Next Codex Reset? Reading It From the Usage Graph

When Codex usage feels close to the limit, the graph matters.

Instead of guessing, I look at the usage graph and estimate the next reset timing from there.

The graph is more useful than memory

I may remember roughly when I used the model, but memory is weak.

The graph gives a better clue. It shows when usage rose and how the current window behaves.

Estimate, do not overclaim

This kind of reading is still an estimate.

The safe way is to say “around this time” and then plan lighter work until the reset becomes clear.

My rule

When usage is tight, I switch to smaller tasks, lower reasoning, or writing work that does not need the highest model.
